Our wireless smoke and heat detector can be operated in both smoke and heat mode .

In heat mode, high humidity is not a problem .

You can switch between smoke and heat mode at any time.

To switch between smoke and heat mode, press the test button 3 times . If the detector is already mounted on the ceiling, you can also use a broom handle.

• The LED flashes red once : Smoke mode has been activated.
• The LED flashes green once : Heat mode has been activated.

Each smoke detector should be installed according to the manufacturer's instructions . As a general rule, smoke detectors should be installed on the ceiling and, if possible, in the middle of a room . In the case of networked smoke detectors, it is also important to ensure that all devices are properly connected to one another .

To turn the smoke detectors on and off, you must press and hold the test surface for about 10 seconds .

You can also do this with a broom handle , for example, if the detector is in an elevated position .

Sometimes the devices need a little longer than the 10 second button press described to turn on. In this case we would ask you to hold down the test area for up to 30 seconds
